A collection of photographs by Andrea Pozza that spans the many facets of flight, Immagini di Volo is divided into four sections: “Lighter than Air”, “On the Wings of History”, “Sport Aviation”, and “Air Show”. In the first section, “Lighter than Air”, the history of hot air balloons is artfully depicted by studying balloons of all types: including historical, traditional and the unconventional. “On the Wings of History”, is devoted to aircraft that have marked the dawn of aviation history . The journey begins with the Wright brother’s biplane and flies through the aircraft of the second World War. The “Sport Aviation” section is solely dedicated to the activity of flight school based information. Finally, “Air Show” captures the aerial display of aerobatic teams from around the world. Pozza effectively captures the emotion and excitement on the faces of spectators photographed at shows around the world. By Andrea Pozza, Published 2011, 231 Pages. |
