Galaxy Landing Light Bulbs |
This product is of poor quality compared to GE bulbs of the past. It doesn’t have star washers under the screws and the screws fit the threaded contacts very sloppy. Worse yet, one of the two bulbs has the filament mis aligned with the parabolic dish. It is off to one side! Glad they don’t build telescopes!
Galaxy 4509Q Halogen Land Lgt
It is what is advertised.
Purchased a Galaxy 4313 for installation on a Bonanza A36 Taxi Light. The outside diameter on the Galaxy bulb is 4.440 while the OD on an original GE 4313 is 4.340. The Galaxy may not fit because the tolerance is not the same as the GE bulb. Otherwise looks like a good, robust part, for applications where size isn't such a factor.
does not come with the screws needed to put on wires for connection. STAY AWAY! original screws will not work, good luck if you buy this thing. obsecure size for thread
Purchased two Galaxy 4553 28V landing lights to replace GE4553 bulbs. The Galaxy lights have three bumps on the back and a curved front lens. GE bulb has a flat front lens and single bump for indexing on the back. The Galaxy 4553 bulb will not fit where a GE4553 bulb was installed. Do not buy as a replacement for the GE bulb
