Electroair partnered with Tempest to produce its new HE spark plug line. The HE plugs are STC'd and PMA'd for use with the Electroair electronic ignition systems. The plugs are approved for all aircraft, and installations approved for use with the Electroair electronic ignition systems.
Electroair's "HE" plug line include a massive electrode with extended reach outer electrodes has a gap of 0.032. This optimal gap accommodates the high energy output of 70,000 volts delivered by the Electroair system. Note: UAREM37HE is PMA approved. |
UAREM37HE are way better than the normal UREM plugs. The engine runs so much better and smother than with the normal plugs. I could lean the engine much better and could go down from 27Ltr/hour to 23Ltr/hour (20/2000rpm) without any hesitations from the engine. They are the best.
Fast delivery, thanks
Quality plugs at a great value!
Be aware that these plugs, according to the Electroair installation manual, are supposed to be pre-gapped at the factory to .036. THEY ARE NOT. They are actually gapped to approximately .022. Installing these plugs in an Electroair system without properly setting the gap can cause engine surging at idle and backfiring. Once the gap is set correctly these issues disappear. Lycoming 0-360-A4A installation.

Per Tempest, if this spark plug is approved for your engine it could be used with the Surefly.
