This little gasket is a great replacement for the oil filler neck cap gasket. I had a nagging oil leak for months that appeared to be coming from the lower portion of the oil cooler and case adapter area. Looked and cleaned that area several times even going so far as to change the gasket between oil cooler and adapter. Finally noticed an oil mist track a rod the inside of the top down tracking from above the oil fill cap to the area above the oil cooler. Then blowing down the back of oil cooler where it attaches to the case adapter. Changed the cap gasket and problem solved!

This Real silicone gasket for the oil filler cap on Continental engines fit perfectly (after I spent 30 minutes cleaning the old disintegrated cork gasket out of the oil filler cap) and appears that it will seal the cap and otherwise work well.
