We put seal kits in all 4 toe brake master cylinders and a different kit in the parking brake master cylinder. Starting with the hand brake fully aft and after one pass at bleeding the left brake and one pass at bleeding the right brake by only pumping the hand brake, and keeping the reservoir full, the toe brakes and the hand brake was firm and fully useful. My takeaway from this job is if you cant bleed the brakes easily in a PA 28, you probably need new seals.

Bleeding these is the hardest part!

This product worked as described and I was able to reseal the left toe brake on my Piper Arrow. Consider rebuilding the other side at the same time as its easier to do two at once. Also reseal the parking brake at the same time as you will be uncomfortable on your back and drenched in hydraulic fluid anyway. Better to have this experience only once.

I didnt order this kit from Aircraft Spruce initially because they were out of stock and a couple of weeks from delivery. I subsequently ordered from two other organizations but the stat-o-seal #494-177 in both cases was incorrect. Both of to large an inside diameter. Aircraft Spruce selling Trimcraft Aviation. Inc. kit #454-944/17000 for Gar-Kenyon toe brake cylinder came through with the correct size stat-o-seal.
