Overview

Satisfied with the overall quality and performance. The installation instructions are clear and concise. Dynon stands behind their products with legendary support. I saved a few dollars by buying from Aircraft Spruce as opposed to buying direct from Dynon. As with other types of servos, the cables should be taught after installation. If you can pluck each servo cable and hear a vibration similar to a stringed instrument, then it is good. To aid in installing I suggest using a 1/16 cable termination on the servo cables where the bridals attach to the control cables. Tighten the bridal while holding tension on the servo cable to keep the servo cable tight. The bridal will slide on the control cable but the pressed end fitting will keep the servo cable in place. It works in tight spots where assistance is unavailable. Dynon says that their bridal clamps have been changed to aluminum but the nylon clamps are still being supplied with the servos. They found that the aluminum clamps minimized cable slippage. The AN3 bolts on the nylon clamps must be torqued to 35 in lb, which is higher than standard. I used the nylon clamps and so far no problem with slippage.
