These custom-made, low-profile wheels with hydraulic brakes, are specially designed for light homebuilts. Wheels are cast using Almag 35 (MIL-A-10935, 36, 37), a high purity virgin magnesium-aluminum alloy.
All models are of the same basic design and all kits below include 2 wheels and 2 brakes, ready to install. Average weight is 5.75 lbs. per wheel and wheel width is 4.5". Prices are per set (2 wheels, 2 brakes) Other suppliers offer them individually. |
Is third time a charm? Ordered 1st time, UPS trashed the box, dropping it on a corner and denting, scratching and scarring the wheels, 2nd order came, packing in box so poor wheels were scratched and dented, 3rd time will deliver 3/7/18. Iam hoping for a good outcome. The packing from the manufacturer is sorely lacking in quantity and quality!
