Tires were used on wieght shift trike 10 years and 600hrs on black top and grass. Very good product for the money just as good as some of much more expensive ones would recommend for light sport aircraft and Mybe even small Cessna

If it is the stem that is the issue, P/N# 06-00754 will have a straight stem and P/N# 06-01229 will have a bent 90 degree stem that may work for you.
