Tape isn’t sticky like regular tape, when you remove the plastic cover it fuses to itself. It’s designed for wrapping around itself. For that it works fantastic.

Plastic layer is a little bit harder to peel off than Uni-wrap PN#09-30450. Not problematic at all though. Very usefull product.

Im extremely happy with Rescue tape. Great for wrapping wires firewall forward. Also good for protecting the motor mounts. Very handy and durable.

This stuff really works. Ive used it for connector wire strain relief for my G3X installation, hose support for my pressure washer, irrigation hose repair, handle grips, electrical insulation...this stuff is worth every penny.

Q: Rescue tape part #'s 01-00989 and 01-00990 - what is the difference between the two? - the photo's and descriptions look identical.

The only difference between these two part numbers is the color. 01-00989 is red and 01-00990 is black. It is also available in clear which is 01-00991.

Q: What is the difference between rescue tape 01-00991 and the uni-wrap silicone tape 09-30450?

They are similar but made by different manufacturers.
