Note: Two part system, quantities will be combined amount of part A and part B. For example, for the gallon size, part A will be 1/2 gallon and part B will be 1/2 gallon totaling 1 gallon. T-88 is a non-brittle structural adhesive which gives superior finished results even when used under adverse working conditions. T-88 will cure in temperatures as low as 35°F which makes it an excellent choice for homebuilders living in colder climates. It is recommended by the builders of many types of homebuilt aircraft and is excellent for bonding aluminum, steel or wood. When fully cured, it is not affected by water, oil, gasoline and most other chemicals. |
The glue is fine but Iv not recieved the entire order
Ideal product for applying to prepared aluminum prior to bonding with fiberglass. A selection of quantity sizes makes it a cost-effective solution.
2nd order, works great for what I do.
This is a great product works as advertised
Works very well for it’s purpose
awsum,
Amazing structural epoxy I can see why so many recommend it for aircraft use. I will now always have some available.
Been using T-88 since around 1970. (Long before Aircraft Spruce marketed it.) Always got good wood tear on compressive shear coupons.
Excellent product excellent service
Did not want to run out of glue with the pandemic, would have gone mad with nothing to do. Once again you came through on time and well packed. thank you....

You just need to make sure the surface is clean and smooth. Our guess is you are using a self-etching primer, like zinc-chromate, or zinc-oxide. T-88 should work fine over that as long as the prep is done properly for those primers was done correctly.
This material doesn't have any information how well it works on titanium, but does work well with aluminum.
It does cure clear, but may have a cloudy look if used in large quantities.
It will bond aluminum and styrofoam, they recommend clean etched aluminum. Once cured it is not elastic but also not brittle so it will have some flex. As for working time they recommend starting off with small 2-3oz batches that would have a 30 minute or so pot life. The larger the batch the shorter the pot life so it is better to mix multiple batches rather than one large batch.
It can be used with fiberglass but it is fairly thick and would not flow. It would need to be applied with a spatula type device.
