American made Acrylic Sheet Grade C to Specification LP-391 is unshrunk. When heated to forming temperature of 220-250°F, it will shrink about 2.2% in length and width and will increase about 4% in thickness. When heated to a pliable state it can be drilled, sawed and machined. Excellent resistance to weathering and less than half as heavy as glass and has good impact resistance. .060" or .080" thickness is generally used for side windows and .118" for windshields. Both sides are paper covered for protection. Sheet size: 48"x96". Sold in 2'x2' increments only. |
Came well protected an as advertised.
Very good packing
Exactly what I ordered. A 2x2 sheet of 0.180 acrylic in smoke. Cuts very nicely with a fine bandsaw blade. I got a 1/8 acrylic bit also and after initial piercing with the 1/8 bit, stepping the holes up worked fine.

I deal with Aircraft Spruce for all my Acrylic and Delrin needs. Expertly packaged, fast, and low shipping rates. Clean, quality product. Friendly telephone staff who arent afraid to call to confirm details of order if required. I do a lot of online business, and by far Aircraft Spruce is the best. P.s. Hats off to the shipper who packages the acrylic panels before shipping. A lot of thought has gone into making sure the acrylic doesnt get damaged in transit.
Aircraft spruce has become my new source for acrylic and will see repeat business in the future. Sara and company were great, the prices were very good, as was communications. The only small issue was that the 3 pieces they cut were not exactly the same length which caused a couple small issues. Thanks.
