Reviews

The kit I just received included three locking nuts. An earlier review (2021) indicated that this kit does not include lock nuts. I am happy to report that this was not an issue with my March 2024 order received today. The received kit was complete.

I was slightly disappointed. The kit I does not include the three required lock nuts. The McFarland web site ( where the kit originated from) shows the same kit cheaper and includes the lock nuts.

Please review the application guide PDF in the "Documents" tab. The aircraft models are listed in ascending order and the kit part number will be determined by the serial number of your aircraft.

Q: Do the kits for the main landing gear supply the hardware for both left and right? Or would I need two kits to accomplish this?

You would need one kit per gear. One nose and two mains.

This includes the bolts, nuts, bushings, cotter pins, and washers to repair the torque link. These to not include tools.

Q: Does the PTL-KT-27 kit include the 3 locknuts? Previous review stated they were disappointed the locknuts did not come with the kit.
