“SCAT” - “SCAT” type ducting has the same type construction as “CAT” except with red silicone rubber impregnation. For use in conducting extremely cold or hot air with temperatures from -65° to over 550°F. Not recommended for negative pressure applications. Sold in full length only - cannot be cut to size. Features: Lightweight and extremely flexible. Short sections, which are normally unusable, can be joined together to form a continuous length. Diameters not listed are available as a special order in full lengths only. Order CAT 2-3/4" diameter for Whisperflow air vents. Full factory lengths are up to 13 ft. Varies by warehouse. Wish I could give it 6 stars the extra one for the shipping packaging. Opened it in front of my wife and 11 feet of tubing shot out of the 3 foot box. Better than the snake in the can thing.

Good product. Although cheaper, I believe the Vena hose is actually metric and at least in the one inch size doesn’t fit as well as this does on standard fittings

Per the vendor there is no shelf life but there is a warranty of (1) from mfg defects.
