Tach cable and housing was pre-lubed and worked great!
Tachometer Cable 36 Right Lay
Appears to be very well made. Exact fit and as described
Tachometer Cable 36 Right Lay
Bought this item to replace failed one. Learned there is a left and right lay to the cables twist. Old cable had wrong direction twist to it. Sales person at Spruce was a big help to me in selecting correct cable for my engine set up. Construction of cable is very high grade.
Cable fit my 1964 Clark end loader/backhoe perfectly. Due to the thoroughness of your website, I was able to pick out proper ends and lay for this cable with relative ease. OEM cable hasn’t been available for 50 plus years.
This cable is captive on the engine side such that it will not put pressure on the tach input. Some tachs like the Mitchell, require a captive cable to keep pressure off the tach, this cable will satisfy that requirement.
Havent installed it yet but looks good.
No problem
Great, not one thing to complain about, everything just went perfect, and fit too.
looks good fit and works
right part & price

Per the manufacturer: Front or rear of the engine doesn't matter because you should be looking at the port in the engine itself where the tach cable will be inserted into the engine. That rotation is what we go off of and most Lycomings have a clockwise rotation which is right lay.
