I have 4 sets of A20s for my family. 1 lemo and 3 GA plugs. I bought an A30 and was passing my 20s down when my youngest daughter was ready for a headset and cannot say after trying them, that they are better in any way over the A20s. Clamping force is overrated and a thin line between comfort and falling off your head. With the 30s, every time I turned my head the ear cup seal would break. If I looked down at my ipad, I had to readjust them as the headset would slip forward. They also sound tinny in comparison to the 20s. Overall, I feel like the A30s are a step backwards in quality. I sent the A30s back and ordered another Lemo plug A20. Thankfully they were still available!
The A20 is overall better than the A30. I went with the A20 again.
Bose A20 Headset Lemo 6 Pin Plug With Bluetooth Electret Mic
Have absolutely loved my A20 headset since I bought it 3 years ago. I recently dropped the unit on concrete and fracture cracked two areas of the headset. I contacted Bose, and they paid for shipping and repair . I had my good as new headset back in my hands in 12 days from me calling. Exceptional service, absolutely an amazing service and product.
Simply the best headset out there!

Bose makes a very comfortable headset with great ANR capability. Passive noise protection is very limited, so always keep fresh batteries with you.

Ive been using Bose in my personal aircraft for seven years. Nothing compares--costs more upfront, but worth it in the long run. Aircraft Spruce is super reliable in shipping, packing, and always competitive in pricing (although there is no competitive pricing allowed for Bose.)

Yes, the battery box for the Lemo version of the Bose A20 will accept the included AA batteries. This will allow the batteries to power the ANR if the headset is being used in a Dual GA equipped aircraft with passive adapter part # 11-08741. No additional battery box is required.
Yes, the Bluetooth feature will stream both music and phone calls to your headset from your device (ie, iPhone, iPad, Android, etc).
Six pin Lemo is the connection plug style. This type of plug is a single connector, and uses aircraft power to activate the ANR. This differs from the more common dual GA plug style, in which there are two male plugs that go into the aircraft jacks and requires AA batteries to run the ANR.
The batteries will only be used in the instance that the LEMO connector stops supplying power. The headset will always use ships power if available, and resort to the batteries as a backup. They can also be used if an adapter, Part # 11-08741, is used to use the LEMO Style headset in a airplane equipped with dual GA female jacks.
Unstretched the coiled portion is approx 14-75 inches. It can be stretched over 6 feet.
You would have to change the cable to our part number 11-08734, for it to run off ships power.
