Overview

Probe PN 400509 is a complete assembly using type K thermocouple wire (red/yellow). The sensor port is a standard 5/8-18 thread for both the Continental and Lycoming engines. Connect the wire marked oil temperature observing polarity. Wire length has no effect on the readings. Oil temperature will be displayed as an independent temperature digital and bar-graph.

This JPI EDM 350 was easy to install. The directions and manual were easy to understand. Every wire was clearly labeled.I needed to change to this K type on my engine, and it too went in easy.
