Per the manuf. Certificate of Conformance, the parts meet FAA-PMA-TSO FACTORY NUMBER PQ0771SW-PT0771SW

Q: Does this have one or 2 usb outlets? Is it 2.1 or 2.5 amp power?

This is a receptacle and does not have USB ports. It is a cigarette port. The USB charger will need to be purchased separately.

Q: What gauge wire do you need for this being it's 10 amps on 12-14v aircraft?

16 gauge wire.

Q: Does the 24V model mean it accepts 24V and outputs 12V?

The operating voltage is between 10VDC - 32VDC, output is 13.8v.

Q: What makes this power receptacle different from the old school cigarette lighter? Does it have a different diameter and depth as compared to the traditional cigarette lighter Dimensions?

It is similar to most cigarette receptacles but this one has FAA approvals.
