    For US registered aircraft, we recommend the USA version.

    Q: Is the ResQLink 400 PLB FAA approved for use in airplanes including light sport aircraft in place of an ELT?

    No this is just a personal locator beacon and does not qualify as an ELT, you would need an aircraft mounted ELT like the Artex ELT 345.
