“V” Dipole VOR/LOC/GS antenna with detachable elements featuring two integrally molded mounting legs or “spacers” for increased strength. Radiating elements are laminated with polyester glass material for improved precipitation static protection. Interchangeable with the VOR/LOC/GS antennas used on most Cessna single engine aircraft since 1980 including the Cessna 182 and 210 models. Note: Does not fit all Cessnas. Confirm application with A&P installer if in doubt.

Note: Comant Antennas no longer come with a gasket or template. Must order sealant PN 09-05579 separately.

Applications
Single engine piston aircraft for applications of this antenna design. Consult your FBO or installation shop for best application information.

Q: How does the cable attach to this Comant CI-215 antenna?

The antenna has a female BNC and you will need a male BNC connector on the coax cable.

Q: Where do I find the gasket and template - pn 09-05579

Part # 09-05579 is a liquid sealant that the manufacturer of the antenna now recommends. They no longer recommend cork gaskets.

Q: Can you tell me the width of the base of this CI-215 antenna please?

The base has a 2.5" max diameter.
