Overview

Note: Panel dock only. Garmin connector not included.

Install the new AirGizmos aera 760 Panel Dock to integrate the aera 760 GPS into your aircraft panel. The Panel Dock matches the look and feel of the rest of your avionics stack, giving you a professional looking panel. Your GPS is held securely in place, and as a result, the touchscreen controls feel comfortable and stable. In flight, you will appreciate your portable GPS and wires out of the way of your controls.

One of the features of our Panel Docks is cable management for portable devices. This Panel Dock uses the Garmin docking connector creating a hassle free connection. Just click the aera 760 into place and you are ready to go. The Panel Dock holds the aera 760 securely in place with the ability to quickly remove the GPS from the aircraft.

There is a built-in actuator for the power button giving easy access for power and brightness control.

The aera 760 Panel Dock fits a standard radio stack. Dimensions are 6.25" wide by 8.0 high.

If you are upgrading from an older Garmin GPS, you will be happy to know that we have designed the aera 760 Panel Dock to fit the same opening as the 696 or aera 796 Panel Docks and uses the same hole layout for mounting. It is also compatible with the tilt adapter (item PD14).

As with all of AirGizmos Panel Dock products, the aera 760 Panel Dock is manufactured with high quality PC/ABS for long life.

Reviews

Replaced a 696 that had also been installed with an Airgizmos panel dock and install could not have been easier. All of the holes lined up and no modifications were needed to install the 760 dock. It was a direct replacement.

AirGizmos Garmin aera 760 Panel Dock

June 17, 2022

I just installed the Garmin Aera 760 dock. It looks great installed but I had to give it 4 stars instead of 5 because installation was very difficult. The nut/bolt combination made it nearly impossible to install because there is no access to work when the dock is in the panel. I ended up using clip nuts to secure the dock to the panel. Engineering could have thought the design out a little more. Im an A&P and former major airline mechanic so if I had trouble installing Im sure others have as well.

It fits Cessna panel stack. Installing without removing I more instruments will be difficult. If you are building a panel from scratch you can engineer this connection points,. Plastic durability not tested.
