all good

I bought the 3 model and various lengths of the economy Rivet Sets and it easily squeezed soft rivets without distorting. I havent done any hardened rivets yet but Im confident it will work great.
I returned a cheaper hand rivet squeezer that flexed to the point that I could not get a square squeeze. I returned it for this squeezer, and it worked great.
I bought the hand squeezer because I had friends that had bought the same unit. My old squeezer had worn out and I needed to replace it. It functioned just fine as a squeezer however, I had to disassemble it and cleaned the threads on the mandrel adjustment. It had not been tested prior to shipping and to adjust it you needed to always insert a pin to turn the mandrel. That shouldnt be the case. Feedback should be sent to the manufacture to clean those threads up prior to assembly and shipping

Yes, This will squeeze a 5/32 hard rivet. For Aircraft applications a cupped and flat die is prefered, the tool is capable of performing both sets of dies.
