Aithre is an amazing company to work with. We had a couple minor troubles with our particular install and the folks at Aithre went above and beyond getting us a superior product! Deffinitely recommend Aithre. The Shield seems to be a very sensitive and accurate carbon monoxide sensor with very quick response time compared to all the other carbon monoxide detectors we were looking at. The self-contained edot 5.0 was ideal for our application and two wire install was quick and clean!

This will work with out the app running. The app will just allow for more information and adjustments.
The eDot does not have an audible alarm on the device (it does the visual LED panel light) but as a BLE devices paired to your phone and headset you can have audible alerts for default values or your own preset. You can also see your data and values saved from previous trips to determine a baseline. You can set alerts above your baseline so you can be notified if something irregular begins to happen.
