MyGoFlight Sport Mount - Flex Clip
Without question the MGF Sport Mount Flex Clip is the best option for attaching an iPad to a general aviation aircraft. I have seen and used a lot of different iPad setups and this is by far the best built and engineered solution. They use only high quality aluminum and the finish is excellent. I did however have a small problem with one of the extra clips used to move the mount to a different spot in my plane (depending on whether or not I have passengers who like to use ForeFlight for example). The Aircraft Spruce support staff were willing to go the extra mile to get this issue fixed. Benadette and the rest of the phone support are great to work with. However I could sense Aircraft Spruces management did not empower the staff to solve the problem. After a week of talking with AS support staff I gave up and contacted MyGoFlight directly. MGF Fixed the issue immediately at no cost to me. Because Aircraft Spruce management did allow their staff to fix the problem I wasted a week of my time and there time too. So thumbs up on this device. Thumbs up on Aircraft Spruce phone service staff. And a big thumbs down on Aircraft Spruce management.
