Q: Are these lights dimmable? Does it come with a way to attach it to the glare shield?

Yes, they are dimmable with a standard aviation dimmer system. The light itself does not come with mounting hardware. It is designed to be used with an aluminum channel but there are other ways to mount it as well. Silcone or other clear adhesives are commonly used.

Q: Who is the manufacturer of these lights? Are these Glareshield lights FAA PMA for certified aircraft?

Vista Manufacturing is the producer of these lights. No, the lights themselves do not carry a PMA approval.

Q: What dimmer would you recommend for these lights, 12 volt system?

Any single channel dimmer will work.

Q: Do I need the 0-8 ohms or the 0-15 ohms dimmer with these lights? Dimmer 0144 or 0146 respectively. Thanks |much!

Per the manufacturer: "That light strip is approximately 60 Ohms. Assuming that the dimmers they are referring to are just standard rheostats, the 15 ohm dimmer will only dim the light by 13% in overall light output."

Q: Do these light strips have a flat mounting surface with 2-side tape?

No, the lights are squarish and made to fit into the glareshield lip.
