Q: Will this fit my Cessna C177B Cardinal?

There is no aircraft specific application chart available for these eyeball vents. Please use the following dimensions to verify it will work in your application: MOUNTS IN 1-3/4" DIAMETER HOLE, MOUNTING FLANGE 2-1/8" SQUARE, MOUNTING HOLE DISTANCE BETWEEN CENTERS 1-11/16", VENT ORIFICE 1" DIAMETER.

Q: Do these vents completely close such that the vent airflow is stopped? I currently have aluminum vents and they leak.

Per the supplieR: Our plastic ball & socket air vent will leak a slight amount of air due to the clearance required for the "door" to function properly. (About .010" of an inch)
