Overview

The STX 360R is a remote version for use in aircraft with limited panel space. The STX 360R is the perfect ADS-B solution for use with other manufacturers Navigation systems. Combining both Mode C and UAT in a single unit the STX 360 reduces cost and installation complexity. It has as an internal diplexer that allows both the transponder and the UAT to share a single antenna. With its wireless output capability, the STX 360 can also display weather and traffic on portable devices such as iPads and tablets.

The SANDIA STX 360R accepts attitude data from altitude encoders, such as the SANDIA SAE5-35, in either Gilham Grey code or RS 232 format. It accepts position data from WAAS GPS position source such as the FREEEFLIGHT WAAS/GPS 1201, the GARMIN 430 W and 530W. SANDIA STX 360 will accept a WAAS position source that has RS 232 or RS 422 interface, as well as from the MGL and GRT product lines​.
