Reviews

Bought for PA28-235. Pros: perfect fit, clean & simple process to replace. The overhaul shop was very courteous & their tracking #s works well with Spruces system. Con: previous one didnt last long, less than 400 hrs in just under 4 years. Excellent services by the overhaul shop and team at Spruce.

I replaced a 37-amp alternator with a new 60-amp alternator and this new voltage regulator. The new system works great. A simple upgrade with no problems.

Had this alternator for 2 years and 300 hours. All 3 positive diode leads burned in two, I think there is a fundamental flaw in the assembly or design. Also the drive end bearing is starting to get noisy. Cost effective but not something I will replace with again.

This is my 2nd Falcon in a year. The last one paste 4 days past the warranty and cost me a battery.
