Hartzell Engine Tech produces a line of internally developed positive displacement engine-driven fuel pumps. These pumps come in three classes, which all feature carbon vanes to protect the pump liner. The pumps also have a built-in regulator that maintains a relatively constant outlet pressure while at the same time provides a bypass system, allowing an electric boost pump to supply fuel to the engine on start-up, as well as in the event the pump malfunctions. The OEM pump on fuel injected Lycoming engines with high flow and pressure requirements. The 201F series are also available as FAA-PMA approved replacements for the Lear Romec RG17980 series of fuel pumps. Medium capacity engine driven positive displacement fuel pump Carbon vanes for improved wear characteristics. Tightly toleranced for improved pump performance and low pressure fluctuation. Note: Lear Romec RG17980 not an acceptable core. |
