If you want a US-made, single-needle altimeter you can read at a glance, this is a must-have item. The case is unsealed, so there is no need to plumb it to your static-system...if you do, the static-system will leak. Just throw it in the panel and go!
Aircraft Spruce placed the incorrect part number on the altimeter box. They are currently correcting the problem.
Purchased 10-02436, installed in experimental aircraft, set the pressure from ATIS and found the altimeter to be 200 feet off both from known field elevation and gps indication. Aircraft Spruce would not allow return because it had been installed.

No. Part number 10-05132 is not TSO'd. The only TSO'd altimeters that we carry are the United altimeter product line.

For the 3-1/8" Altimeters, no connection is required unless it is installed in a pressurized cabin or a open cockpit with moving air behind the panel. It is not to be connected to static line. If a line is needed, it should be flexible tubing 1/4" OD X .028" - .035" ID. All UMA instruments are manufactured in the United States.
