No this is a non certified antenna.
You can type in coax cable in the search box to find the cable you will need. RG 400 or RG 58 will work fine, just make sure you get a male BNC connector that is 400 or 58 (will say in the product name) so it will match the cable type.
The manufacture does not give detailed specs on this transponder antenna. As it is not TSO'd it is recommended for experimental aircraft only. It is comparative to the AV-22 and CI-101 transponder antennas.
It can but please refer to your transponders recommended list of antennas to ensure compatibility.
Per Dynon it is not recommended to attach an antenna direct to the ADS-B unit due to poor reception inside the aircraft as also the antenna must be 3 feet away from other antennas. It is best to mount on the belly of the aircraft. We do not carry a right angle ADS-B antenna.
Thank you for offering an answer to a previous customers question.
Please see your transponders recommended list of antennas and grounding procedures in the installation manual to ensure proper functionality.
We have added the dimensions to the 'Documents' tab of this web page. The material is nickel-plated brass.
RG-400 can be used for leads up to 15 feet. RG-142 is suggested for leads over 15 feet.
The antenna can be used as long as the transponder is in good working condition.
