Q: Is this Fibreglass E Tape Bi-directional (ie at 45 deg) Tape? Regarding Part # 01-06600

This fiberglass tape is Bi-Directional, but is woven at a 0/90 deg., not at 45 deg.

Q: How heavy are these tapes (in ounces per Square yard)?

Tapes are woven from 8.7 oz./sq. yd. fiberglass cloth.

Q: What is the unit of measure? it looks like 50yd rolls...

Correct, these are priced and sold in 50 yard rolls.

Q: Would this be the product to use to transition the seam between the fiberglass tips and the aluminum stabilizer?

In short the answer is yes, it can be used to lay-up between two parts, but so can any of the fiberglass cloths we offer. Using a fiberglass tape can be convenient and save time if the correct width is selected for the specific application.
