Service from order placement to delivery was quick. The contents were separated in individual bags and then the individual bags were packaged in a larger bag. Neat and orderly. The only thing I would ask for would be a simple diagram as to where each specific screw(s) were meant to be placed. If not a diagram, maybe a small slip of paper in each individual bag ie: “inspection panel screws”.. product is great and service is great.

Q: Folks, Is there a breakdown of what is contained in kit 04-01700? Are there SS Washers, Wing access panel truss head screws, etc, etc,?

Per the supplier: "We don't specifically break down the items, top secret info :) There are hundreds for screws for the inspection 'panels'. 3 different kinds of washers as well. Been selling this kit for 30 years, problems or shortages are very rare."

Q: Regarding individual airplane exterior screw kits: What grade is the stainless steel? 316? 303? 304? 18-8?

Per the supplier: 18-8 SS.

Q: On the countersink screws, what is the angle of the countersink on the screw? 37.5 degrees?

Any machine screws would be 100*, and sheet metal screws 82*. The supplier does not offer the specific part numbers and qty's of each kit.

Q: Does the kit for the Piper Tomahawk include the stainless washers?

Yes. There are quite a few. Many countersunk washers are used on the wing & stabilator tips.

Q: Does this kit include the aileron hinge screws, washers, and nuts?

Any screws, bolts, nuts that are used to attach rudder, elevator, ailerons or trim tabs are considered to be structural and NOT included in any of the airframe kits.

Q: Does this kit include the spring fasteners that hold the carb intake on to the lower cowl?

No, there are only screws in the kit. No fasteners.

Q: Are any Nylon Washers included in the 172 Skyhawk kit?

No these kits do not come with nylon washers.

Q: What is the different in 04-03700 and 04-03500, I have an archer II 1977 PA28-181? They both just say Archer.

04-03700 lists PA28 WARRIOR/ARCHER II/DAKOTA for the application.
04-03500 lists PA28 CHALLENGER/ARCHER
You would want 04-03700.

Q: Is the Citabria kit good for a Super Decathlon? Does it include screws for the fiberglass cowling?

Yes that would be correct. The manufacturer added that if you feel like some screws are missing after install you can contact them directly and they will ship them to you.

Q: Does the 150/152 kit come with the southco fasteners for the cowl?

No, these kits are just screws.
