Neoprene tubing is used in instrument hookups and for battery drains. Use AN hose fittings such as AN840 with Breeze Mini Clamps, nylon or polyethylene hose fittings such as 0710-153. Not for use as fuel or oil lines. Part No. Wall I.D. Sold by the foot. |
This is excellent pitot static hose for 3/16 hose connections. It will work on 1/4 but the stretch is very tight. I dont know if it will deteriorte through time. Well have to see
I have a 05-00400 hose sitting on my shelf in stock and it is in great shape even though it is a couple of years old. Stored in a climate control room.
I would not recommend this hose for aircraft instruments, battery drains maybe It is very flimsy and easily pinched closed. Wall thickness is only 1/16 and the material is very soft (low durometer). I would recommend Aeroquip 306 for the pitot/static system
I should have read the reviews first. This stuff is unsuitable for a vacuum system. It kinks and collapses easily. I think any hints at suitability for vacuum application should be expunged from the page.
Too flimsy could not make it work ended up in the trashcan
Is not neoprene as advertised. Swollen into gasoline. Is a fraud.

Per the supplier: No, it is not UV resistant.
The neoprene tubing is priced and sold by the foot.
Per the manufacturer: Without the customer providing specific expectations, we can tell them they can use a reference temperature range of -30F to 212F. Customer would still need to test and approve end use application.
It can be used or low vacuum applications.
