The B series firewall fitting has a 1 inch aluminum ball held in place by 2 stainless steel pressure plates. It has a swivel angle up to 50 degrees from straight and is held to the firewall with 6 #4 screws. Assembly weighs only 1.0oz-1.3oz ( .06lb-.08lb) depending on ball hole size. Outstanding quality. Took less than an hour to install. Taped the template to the firewall which made drilling the holes a piece of cake. Used a step drill for the large center hole.

Yes, the ball splits in half so you can clamp it over the cable.
The A-920 housing is 1/4" O.D.. You can use the .250" or for a firm grip, the .240" unit to secure it.
