Works. Doesnt appear to create the same focused light as the bulb it replaced. Lamp removed was a Universal 1940 lamp. Unable to see the light on the wall of the hangar as beacon rotates like I could with the old lamp. Plan on removing and replacing with the real bulb from Whelen or one from Universal.
I got one flight per bulb out of these. Spruce sent me replacements and I went through all of them. Installed a LED bulb from a different supplier and havent had a problem since. I vote no.
