3M™ Neoprene High Performance Low Viscosity Rubber sprayable version Gasket Adhesive 1300 is a yellow solvent type synthetic rubber based adhesive.
    High immediate strength
    Fast-Drying and heat resistant for rubber and metal
    Meets requirements of MIL-M-81288
High immediate strength and good heat resistance. It is a general-purpose adhesive that can be used for bonding most rubber and gasketing materials to most metal, baked enamel, wood, plastics and neoprene, SBR and butyl rubber.

Great adhesive. God for carpet, rub strip, door seals. Degrades over time. Used it in the airlines a lot.

Use this adhesive for re coning speakers for commercial audio industry. 3M products are usually hard to get through fastener suppliers but Aircraft Spruce Canada has been the go to place for this adhesive.

Q: How long does the 3M Scotch Grip adhesive 1300L stay good for after the container is opened?

Per Vendor: The 3M warranty or shelf life relates to the condition of the material as it leaves 3Ms facility and controlled by particular storage conditions. As long as the adhesive is maintained in the appropriate storage conditions and the containers are resealed, the adhesive should still perform throughout the shelf life.

Q: What is the lowest temp the glue will cure?

For best results the adhesive and the materials being joined should be at 65 degrees. The tech data sheet does not mention a lowest possible temp.

Q: Is 3M Scotch Grip adhesive considered hazardous for shipping?

Via air methods, yes, it is considered hazardous materials and subject to hazardous fees. If shipping via UPS Ground within the USA, it is not considered hazardous goods.

Q: What is the difference between 1300L and regular 1300?

1300L has a lower viscosity for spraying and easier brushing.
