Fuel Fresh prevents gasoline from going stale. This process called Autoxidation occurs when oxygen reacts with fuel, thereby forming gum and varnish. Auto gas is particularly susceptible, losing octane performance and flammability, resulting in greater possibility for detonation. Add Fuel Fresh and preserve fuel up to 24 months, maintain octane, prevent gum varnish, clean fuel system, and inhibit corrosion. Quick starts and clean burn are assured. Safe for 2 or 4 cycle engines. Handy measuring bottle. |

Fuel Fresh 32 Oz
Been using fuel fresh for a long time and usually purchase at least six bottles at a time. I use it with unleaded fuel (no ethanol) in my older vehicles that may burn a tank of gas in a year or so. I also use it with my gas cans, lawn mowers, edger, etc. My experience with ethanol fuels, is if you buy, youd better burn it. It turns bad quicker than a Halloween pumpkin.
re: comment by Tom SIR, YOUR ASSERTION THAT AVGAS DOES NOT GO STALE IS SIMPLY.....WRONG. ALL FUEL GOES STALE, OR SOUR OVER TIME. BEING MORE HIGHLY REFINED (DISTILLED) THAN AUTO FUEL, AVGAS JUST TAKES LONGER TO LOSE ITS QUALITY. WITH AVGAS, A DROPPING OFF OF OCTANE VALUE OVER TIME IS (SHOULD BE) OF MAJOR CONCERN. WITH 100LL, YOU MIGHT NOT HAVE THE SIGNIFICANT FORMATION OF GUMS AND VARNISH AS IS ASSOCIATED WITH AUTO FUELS, BUT PROTECTION AGAINST DETONATION - ESPECIALLY AT TAKEOFF POWER - SHOULD BE SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT. BECAUSE 100LL IS MORE HIGHLY REFINED AND HAS SUCH A WIDER MARGIN OF SAFETY AGAINST PREMATURE IGNITION, DUE TO FUEL AGING, IT IS NOT NORMALLY A BOTHER. BUT....EVEN THOUGH ENGINE PERFORMANCE IS APPARENTLY OK, THAT DOESNT MEAN THAT THE FLAME SPEED AND BURN RATE, OCTANE PERFORMANCE, AND OVERALL COMBUSTION EFFICIENCY ARE SOLIDLY IN THE MIDDLE OF THE FUEL SPECIFICATION. THE OLDER THE FUEL IS, THE MORE IT TRENDS TO THE MINIMUM SIDE OF THE SAFETY MARGIN AS FAR AS COMBUSTION GOES. FUEL FRESH PREVENTS AUTOXIDATION FROM OCCURING WITH THE ASSOCIATED LESSENING OF THE OCTANE VALUE IN AVGAS.....SOMETHING WHICH IS AN INSURANCE (ASSURANCE) THAT THE FUEL REMAINS WITHIN SPEC AS WHEN IT WAS DELIVERED INTO THE FUEL TANKS.

Per the supplier: Yes. Fuel Fresh is the best for aircraft fuel, 100LL particularly, and better than anything else on the market (has been for 24 years). 1 fl oz treats up to 3 gallons (same as instructions on the current label); keeps the gas fresh for a couple years....Sometimes more.
Per the supplier: Best used when mixed 1 ounce to 3 gallons of fuel, but 1 ounce to 2 gallons will not harm the fuel or engine.
