Replacement Bulb for the the Flight Strobe FS-4400. |
The strode was off for 6 months and it still gave me a good shock when I replaced the bulb. Lol I find the builds dont last long about 2 years.

The bulb was exactly what I needed. Works great 👍
Repl Bulb # Fs-227 14V/28V
Bulb arrived on time and worked perfectly. Was in a plastic bag and could have been crushed so one star less for packaging. Note clips that held old bulb had oxidized and needed burnishing before inserting and may have caused the failure. bulb.
Mine arrived and worked perfectly. I suggest removing the entire strobe and removing and replacing the bulb inside at your bench. Use gloves and dont touch the bulb with bare fingers. Oils shorten the life. Sometimes the clips have to be burnished to make good contact after years of use. I have seen a strobe bulb fail due to a slight resistance arc and heating at the clip. . Why not 5 stars? Bulb should be in a box from the factory not just a plastic bag - or wrapped in foam then in the plastic bag.
Not sure if it’s a bad bulb or the unit itself but it didn’t work. So I can’t comment on the quality. The packaging was fine and legs weren’t broken.
The middle wire on both bulbs fell off when trying to install.

An inferior, poor quality product. The ground leg breaks off with a gentle touch
