quality product. perfect hole pattern.
Installed the unit via field approval. This light is probably the best value around. I keep the light on all the time. About 1500 hours of usage or a bit more. strongly recommended, the new LED lights are great too, but this old school traditional light is simply reliable and works. Only one wire hook up if you have a metal airplane, the skin is the ground. Easy and cool.
Best bang for the buck ever. Bright dependable flash. I can use superlatives or just report that its bright strong and I use it all the time. No drama no BS it just works.
Fantastic light that provides very bright and adequate source. I have it installed on a PA28-140. Also, for replacement parts, its fantastic!
Sounds like a nice strobe unit. But it is not available to order with the red lens. The customer must order that separately at an additional $25.60 plus tax and shipping.
Very bright and works as advertised, but they also create a very noticeable whine in the headphones/audio panel. Installing a high quality line filter helped a bit, but not enough to warrant keeping this strobe. Had to remove it and install an alternate unit.
Do not buy this unit, the bulb that comes with has constant problems, I have been using it for three or four years and had to change the bulbs several times because of the solder coming loose on the housing or is burning out prematurely. You may save some money buying this unit but you will spend a lot more in the long run on bulbs.
