This crimper does not offset the strain relief crimp in the insulation so both sides will roll directly into each other and have to be offset by hand then finish crimping. A ratchet style is definitely a better choice, but this one can be made to work if only doing a few pins.

Q: Will this Seal-All crimp tool work with all insulated and non-insulated terminals?

Per the supplier: It is really for crimping pins and sockets (and it would do a variety of pins and sockets). It will crimp insulated terminals flat and do an OK job on those but I prefer a crimp connector that puts a dimple in the insulated jacket. No such thing as a tool that will do everything the best--unfortunately.
