This crimp tool does a fine job of crimping the conductor and seal at the same time. The alignment block ensures correct orientation of Pin or Socket tabs to the tools crimp faces. But sometimes it is difficult to push the Pin into it and this can result in the user pushing the lead further into the seal, Pin and tool. Because of this, I have more than once, accidentally pushed the wire through so that the Pins crimp tabs actually grabbed unstripped wire (insulation) rather than actual conductor, ruining the process. I wish I had saved myself some $ by just buying the Part #: 11-06592 crimpers which also handles 22 and 24 size Pins. These Professional crimps do not handle work that small!
