Feed-Thru Insulator for lead-in wire from fixed antenna. Type 4125. |
Although we use these as a temporary HF radio antenna insulator on ferry flights, we go through a lot of them as the inside insulators often break. We sometimes do field repair by having to put a plastic tubing insulator on the screw to provide insulation where the center cone breaks. The outer part holds up pretty well, but the inner shafts break a lot.
