Installed one of these on my Cessna over a year ago and love it. It looks good, it’s small and aerodynamic and I believe brighter than other certified LED beacons. Very bright.

I had an Aveo TSO Red Baron anticollison beacon fitted to my old Beech Sierra. It was just a matter of having the A&P make a plate to mount it across the base-plate of the old beacon and wire it up. The only downside of the installation was that the aircraft was parked outside and the AveoDiamidium™ formulation fogged over - but the LEDs were still very bright two years later.
