Requires connection to Stratus ESG. |
Provides full featured integration with I Fly GPS. AHRS, weather, traffic. Nothing more needed. The 3i is the internal version which means it is designed for a semi-permanent installation in the aircraft. It does not contain a battery and it connects to the external antennas used for the Appareo transponder. Theoretically, it will have greater range than the regular portable Stratus 3 when relying solely on its internal antennas.
Works very well with an iPad running Foreflight. I can see traffic around me, metars, etc.
