They work as well as the professional series pliers to remove and install clecos.

I am learning to scratch build an airplane. This was a big help learning that process. It takes materials and I have some now :D Excellent condition and they allowed me to come and pick up the stuff myself. Awesome! Great customer service. I had a lot of questions and they did not get upset with me when I changed my mind and decided to go in another direction. They simply supported me and I purchased even more stuff! I have been using this company for decades. I first started with the supplies needed for R/C aircraft back in the 80 and 90s.

these are functional but clecos sometimes get stuck in them when youre rushing... id say these are functional but i will soon order a more expensive set

Acceptable for occasional use. Jaws are too big, so the clecos will often jam. Rubber handle is loose, I had to glue that stuck so that it doesnt keep on slipping off.
If you are serious about this, get a more expensive one. I will.

My order came very quickly but the cutout for the cleco on the pliers is machined too wide and they tip sideways under pressure. Works and I got this job done, buit a PIA to get loose. I complained and sent a clear, close-up picture but no response.

Ill echo the statements that the clecos get jammed in the lower jaw far too easily. The plastic sleeves on the handles slide down the handle on every cleco I place. Ive removed the sleeves, which helps, but the constantly twisted / jammed clecos are enough that I wish I spent a few dollars more on such a basic tool.

Unlike most items on Aircraft Spruce which are fantastic, these need to be reviewed in manufacturing as the one I recently received looks like the tool is warn and as a result the fasteners fall through the center when being used. The fasteners often twist and get stuck in the tool.

The jaws are too big and the Cleco jams in the pliers. I recommend buying a higher quality plier. I would buy the higher quality one if I knew these wouldnt work very well. Also the rubber coated handle fell off after 3 uses.

Not worth the money you save. Spend a few more dollars and get one to last you a lifetime.
The shape of the lower arm holds the cleco at a funny angle and it gets jammed up about every 5 or do clecos.

I got the inexpensive one thinking how much difference can there be in so simple a tool.
The lower jaw is badly made and allows the cleco to twist and get jammed in the tool just about every time. the plastic grips are quite grippy and work great until they start to come loose and slide down the handles. Then they become a pain in the neck.
Dont buy these!
its just a few bucks more for a decent tool that will not irritate the living daylights out of you.
