120Deg. Flush Dimpling Tool 17014
Used this on .050 aluminum sheet. The supplied nails only lasted for two pulls. I switched to steel nails which were more durable. Thankfully this tool is setup for that. I was very satisfied with the results
120Deg. Flush Dimpling Tool 17014

120Deg. Flush Dimpling Tool 17014

120Deg. Flush Dimpling Tool 17014
Product worked great
Handy little tool. Especially for hard to get to place for the big dimpler
Instructions say to attach male die to rivet gun. It has the wrong threads for the 4 guns I own. Makes a nice dimple if you treat it as just a rivet.
120Deg. Flush Dimpling Tool 17014
This tool is only designed to be used with the G-28 tool which is over $120. The thread size of the dimplier fitting is not the same size as a hardware riveting tool . It will not fit into your hardware riveting hand tool. Other than that, tool looks to be well made. I have not actually used it because I dont have the G-28 tool. I feel ACS should also make a version with the proper thread size to fit into ordinary rivet hand tools.
Doesnt fit my pop riveter. I was looking for a 120° dimple and this was it. I now see another one with no angle spec that is more universal, a 12-01179.

No, its designed to be used with a pop rivet tool.
The 17014 was designed to be used with a G-28 pull type rivet gun, which one of the dies is threaded to fit the gun, and the 12-01179 can be used with any pull type rivet gun, it does not have a threaded die, it just has a straight shank mandrel that goes in the rivet gun like a mandrel on a pull type rivet.
