Overview

The Cultivator is an ANSI Z87 & CSA Z94.3 safety-rated frame featuring FX2 lens technology, the only lens designed for full-spectrum LED and CMH lights.

This economical, full-wrap frame offers 100% UV protection and includes industry-leading multi-layered coatings: resin repel, anti-reflection (AR), and petrol mirror.

Its flexible frame, extra-grippy rubber temple pieces and nose pad accommodate a wide range of face sizes, from small to large.

Lens Technology

FX2 Lens Technology:
The FX2 lens is the result of years of dedicated research, developed in collaboration with the world's leading LED light manufacturers and engineers. It's the biggest innovation in growing since LED lights.
Our lens provides precise filtering of the LED spectrum, reducing spikes in the 660nm to 700nm and 385nm to 440nm ranges. It offers complete UV protection, blocking increased UV from newer LED fixtures with chips below 400nm. The FX2 lens eliminates the spots and floaters that many people experience when working under LED lights, ensuring clear vision. Brightness is perfectly reduced, allowing you to see above or below your canopy without ever removing your glasses, regardless of LED settings. Additionally, the lens features multiple advanced coatings, including resin repel, anti-reflection, anti-fog, and petrol mirror, for maximum performance and comfort.

Resin Repel:
An industrial grade anti-fog and anti-stick coating that is applied to both sides of the lens. Not only does it protect the other coatings underneath it also makes wiping sticky resin off the lenses a breeze. The coating was initially developed for The Navy Seals. We tweaked it to resist resin, which, understandably, isn't something the Navy was concerned about.

Frame Technology

  • Meet the Cultivator - a wrap frame that fits almost everyone. Safety-rated and super lightweight, it features no-slip nose and temple pads for ultimate comfort. The frame may not be fancy, but it houses the same high-performance FX2 lens found in our high-end Italian frames. It's like a KIA with a Porsche engine!

  • We've invested in where it counts - your eyes- while keeping the frame affordable. The result is an unbeatable value for both large commercial grows and single-light setups. Plus, it comes with the same guarantee as all Method Seven frames: if anything breaks due to our fault, we'll replace it.

  • Perfect for growers seeking a reliable, cost-effective solution without compromising on quality.

  • CSA-Z94.3 Safety Rated
    • The CSA-Z94.3 standard, developed by the Canadian Standards Association (CSA), pertains to eye and face protectors. The standard specifies the performance criteria for different types of hazards. This includes impact resistance, lens quality, protection against optical radiation, and coverage area. At Method Seven, we use this as the benchmark and then raise it. We ensure our lens filtering exceeds CSA and keeps up with the changing indoor lighting technology because that's what we do best.
  • ANSI Z87.1+ Safety Rated
    • American National Standards Institute - tested and certified to protect you from all the bad stuff. Don't just take our word for it - this is the benchmark. Growers trust Method Seven because we often exceed the benchmark - we work with lighting companies to know what's coming down the road and future-proof our lines.
  • Polycarbonate Frame Technology
    • A strong, lightweight, high-pressure injected frame material - great for extremely curved frames like our Cultivator.
