Nice robust material and not so thick as to make manipulation challenging. I found it a tad narrow however for a one side my fabrication, however. 4 to 5 would be much be much more practical.

Great material for cowl seals. Two-ply fiber reinforced it is far more durable and easy to work than silicone rubber seal material. The width is just right for curving profiles and a suitable amount of material without force feeding an excessive quantity purchase on the customer.

There is NO adhesive. It is typically held on with rivets of one kind or another.
3-1/8" wide, and 1/16" thick.
It is fairly flexible so the paint would crack and fall off pretty quickly.
It does not come in the box, but they can be furnished if requested during checkout.
This meets a mil spec MIL-C-7637D and AMS-3783. Ideal for engine baffles. Heat and flame resistant. It does not have specific FAA Approval on it's own.
