Screw/seal assemblies are used to attach the fuel transmitter to the aircraft's fuel tanks. The seals are a special Viton rubber Stat-O-Seal that do not degrade or swell with avgas and are built into a special stainless steel washer. A slotted screw with safety wire hole and a washer is used for Piper aircraft. Please note that the washer must be between the seal and the screw head. Price per screw (each). |
These fit my 67 PA28-235 and the integral sealing rings stopped the fuel seepage at the main tank senders. Recommended.

When you order a new sending unit you should make sure you are getting the kit with gaskets and screws. The screws worked great though.

This is exactly what you need to finish the fuel sender install. It’s overpriced but that’s not AC Spruce’s fault.

Seems to be better than the original seals. We complimented the main seal with McFarlane screws and leak checked. Had slight blue staining on a few screws but no obvious leaks.
