Overview

The AV-11 is a non-certified transponder antenna for experimental aircraft, similar to the TED 104-12 antenna. This rod style transponder antenna utilizes a BNC connector and requires a smaller mounting hole. The antenna is designed to operate at speeds up to 350 mph and altitudes up to 50,000 feet. It has a drag force of 0.41 lbs. @ 250 mph.

Q: Do I use a female or male BNC to connect to this Rami AV-11 antenna?

This has a female BNC. So you will need a male BNC on the coax cable to connect to it.

No, this transponder antenna transmits on 1030-1090 MHz and an ELT antenna has a frequency coverage of 121.5 MHz 406 MHz. Please look at Part# 11-10465.

Q: Will this antenna work with a Trig TT22 with TN72 for ADS-B The TT21/TT22 is compatible with any transponder antenna approved to ETSO C74 or 2C112 or 00560-00?

This antenna does not specify if it meets those standards. It is recommended to use what is advised in the installation manual. Such as p/n: AV-22 or the AV-74 p/n: 11-05846
